the-walking-dead-amc: First Details and Release Date for New Webisodes During an interview conducted back in March with The Walking Dead showrunner Glen Mazzara, it was confirmed that Greg Nicotero would be directing a new set of webisodes.  Titled Cold Storage, the new webisodes will premiere on October 1st. The story feature a new group of characters in the early days of the zombie outbreak, with a cast that includes Daniel Roebuck (Halloween II, Lost) and Josh Stewart: “Cold Storage tells the story of a young man, Chase (played by Josh Stewart), trying to reach his sister in the early days of the zombie apocalypse. He finds temporary shelter in a storage facility run by a former employee named B.J. (Roebuck); however, things are not what they appear.” In total, there will be four five-minute episodes and we should have more details when AMC issues a press release.
